Wisconsin PACE Commission Elects a New Board Chair and Vice-Chairman
Madison, WI (January 17, 2022) After five years of spearheading PACE Wisconsin’s governing body, Wisconsin PACE Commission, Allen Buechel, Board Chairman, stepped down from his post. Although former Chairman Buechel is stepping down as Chair, he still plans to actively represent Fond du Lac County on the PACE Commission. During the last meeting of the Wisconsin Commission, the board of directors elected two new Board Executives, the new Board Chair, Patrick Miles, and Board Vice Chair, Brett Rondeau.
Patrick Miles, Dane County Board Supervisor, and PACE Commission representative was nominated and confirmed as the new Board Chair. Miles shared, “I want to thank Allen for his work in rallying stakeholders throughout the state and sharing how property assessed clean energy (PACE) can be used to help commercial property owners make needed energy efficiency and renewable energy changes to their buildings.” Miles continued, “I look forward to working with the PACE Wisconsin team to continue to help grow PACE in Wisconsin. C-PACE is good for both businesses and the environment. ”
Brett Rondeau, PACE Commission Vice Chair and Board of Supervisors for Bayfield County, has been involved with the PACE Commission since 2017. Rondeau noted, “I am grateful for the opportunity to serve as the Vice-Chair for the Wisconsin PACE Commission.” He continued, “PACE is a no-cost economic development tool that enables commercial property owners and developers to obtain financing and eliminate hurdles to making cost-saving updates to their properties.”
